And so, having gone on a killing spree, the wolf flees the country.
As pointed out in the movie 'The Crow', western democracies tend not to have the concept of outlaws, whereby a criminal can be killed with no repercussions. Hence killing a bunch of crime lords is still going to land you in hot water if you're caught.
In some ways I feel a bit bad about having a story where an evil character commits a bunch of murders and then gets away with it, but I can take consolation in the fact that the people he killed were far, far worse. Though I suspect his daddy will have harsh words when they meet in the afterworld.
I like the melody, but the arrangement could have been tighter. It could have done with a drum track, but alas this was done on a single 8-track tape and I ran out of channels.
lyrics
The Wolf's gone with the wind
I took off like lightning
To a place I'd rather be
They can only pin the drowning onto me
If I can only reach the border
Then I'll make it home scot free
They can only pin the drowning onto me
